All necessary buttons are shown in the middle part (Figure Position of default buttons). On the left stands the logo or Home button if it is added in eDition Administration tool. The middle part is limited with left and right 9-slice guidelines. The user can align buttons horizontally or vertically.

The position and set of buttons is assigned in the Administration program, where you have the possibility to add other buttons which are not present in the default task bar. (eDition Administration -> choose Edition -> Parameters -> Big task bar or Small task bar). The horizontal and vertical align can be changed in eDition Administration -> choose Edition -> Parameters -> Menu)

By default task bar has 2 sets of buttons: Simple and Advanced. Selected button is a switch between each set. In Figure Task bar you can see those two sets.

There are some restrictions and advices:

1. Png-s buttons should be in position x: 0 and y: 0.
2. Png-s buttons should be all the same size, so the eDition Viewer can calculate the correct margins and offsets.
3. For best alignment buttons should not exceed the height of the task bar.
4. Button Home (your web page) can be changed with your logo to simply personalize your task bar.
5. For best appearance Png-s buttons should have semi or full transparent background.
6. For Png-s do not set "Allow smoothing" check box in the object properties window. It will distort the view.
7. Make sure to use Shape object for task bar. The use of Movie clip is not recommended due to same restriction of 9-slice rules.

By changing all png-s or movie clips with new style you can easily change the appearance of your task bar.

1. Design of the task bar using 9-slice guidelines.
2. Button's new style.
3. The final appearance in eDition Viewer.
